It would seem that many stores are out of wood pelleted bedding altogether. American Wood Fibers’ plant in Schofield, Wis., say they’ve been seeing supply issues for nearly three years and that supplies home-building industry are down 50-60% with prices for shavings up 30-40% partial due to high transportation costs of the past year.

So if you are affected, it is well worth looking for alternatives now and set up regular supplies with alternative companies.
